Club Captain The Club captain’s role is to oversee the entire running of the club. They also secure coaches for all teams for the upcoming and manage the club committee.

Club Secretary The club secretary is the main contact person for the club and deals with all correspondence for the club. The secretary also stands in for the club captain when they are absent and helps other committee members with their duties and in the absence of the club captain

Fixtures Secetary The fixtures secretary arranges all teams’ weekly matches with their opposition club, books pitch times and communicates these bookings with the rest of the club.

Treasurer The junior treasurer looks after the day to day expenses of the club, keeps the books and makes sure the club operates within the annual budget.

Registration Secetary The registration secretary’s role is to register all teams and players for the year and to distribute match cards for recording results and players on each team.

Umpires Secetary The role involves organising umpires for all matches for all teams. Leinster um,pires are provided for the 1st team and all other teams umpires are members of the hockey club.

Equipment Secetary :The role of the equipment secretary is to look after all equipment and training gear within the club. They also order playing gear, goalie gear, first aid kits, training equipment for all teams..

Social Secetary The main role of the social secretary is to organise social events to bring all club players together. This social evenings club members get to know their team mates and fellow club members better. You will work alongside the men’s social secretary.

Website Administrator This person is in charge of the UCD Hockey website and regularly updates the site with news, fixtures and photos. If you have any pictures of hockey events please email them to the website administrator.

Club Developent Officer The role of the club development officer is to maximise the develpoment opportunites for all members of the club. They are involved in seeking club sponsorship, recruitment of volunteers as well as trying to promote growth and deveolpment not only of the club as a whole but also individual club members.
